Countryside Kids
A place where children discover God’s love through laughter, learning, and friendship. Each Sunday, kids explore Bible stories, enjoy music and activities, and grow in faith in a safe, caring environment designed just for them.
YG - Youth Group
Teens in grades 6–12 find purpose, belonging, and fun at YG. Through worship, service projects, and real conversations, youth build lasting friendships and deepen their relationship with Christ while making a difference in their world.
Small Groups
Life is better together. Our Small Groups are where faith becomes real—sharing stories, studying God’s Word, and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs. Find your group and connect in genuine community.
Countryside Youth
At Countryside UMC, our Youth Ministry is a place where middle and high school students can belong, grow, and live out their faith together. Through worship, small groups, service projects, and fun events, students discover how God’s love shapes their lives and how they can make a difference in the world. Whether you’re new to church or deeply rooted in faith, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to walk with you on your journey.
MISSION: Countryside’s ministry to children and youth is an inclusive community building lifelong Christians who gather together, grow in their faith, and go into the world.

Music & Arts
Youth Praise Band:
The Youth Praise Band is a band that is run by youth. They decided the music they want to perform. Practice is every Sunday night. The band plays every 4th Sunday at the 9:30 am service.
Bell Choirs:
Countryside Ringers is our youth bell choir of 6-12 graders. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons in the bell room.
Summer-Time
God Squad:
This is our ongoing youth service group that provides hands-on service in the community through a variety of means and places.
Community Garden:
Every spring, our youth prepare and plant a garden in the church’s south lot. They water and care for the plants, and invite the community to enjoy the harvest!
Summer YG:
During the summer, the youth group meets at the church to enjoy a casual Bible study and a fun activity.
Mission In Motion
Youth Mission Trips:
Countryside youth are committed to making this world a more beautiful and just place for God’s creation to exist in. We are committed to mission at the local, national and international levels, and to developing leadership in our youth as they learn the importance of mission and service.
Our mission trips spend a week of hard work helping others in need. The final days of our trips are spent sightseeing and doing other fun activities.

Youth Bell Choirs
Youth Mission Trips
Youth looking for an adventure will get that and more! Countryside Youth take mission trips at least once a year in the summer. This summer, all middle school students went to Clinton, Arkansa. The High School group went to work in Saylerville, Kentucky.
