Giving at Countryside
It is God’s intention that we grow, live generously, and take bigger steps in our faith as we become more aware of how richly we are blessed.
Stewardship is not our way of raising a budget. It is God’s way of raising disciples. Discover the joy of growing in your relationship with God as you consider how you can take the next step and live generously.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
-Galatians 5:22-23
Giving
At Countryside, giving is an expression of gratitude and faith. Your generosity helps us continue to be a safe place to belong and recharge while sharing Christ’s love with our community and beyond. Every gift—large or small—makes a lasting impact.
Fulfilling Our Vision Pledge
We are called to be a Church of Blessing—to gather in worship, grow in faith, and go in service. Your contributions make that vision possible by supporting ministries that nurture spiritual growth, strengthen relationships, and bring hope to those in need.
Why Give?
We give because God first gave to us. Through giving, we put love into action—reaching neighbors, empowering missions, and transforming lives through mercy and justice. Generosity isn’t just an act; it’s a reflection of our faith in motion.

Your Giving At Work
Locally
Countryside believes in creating opportunities to serve and bless our local Topeka community. When you give monetary gifts, we are able to support our local schools through our School Ministry team, BackSnacks in cooperation with Harvesters, and more. Countryside also supports local help agencies like Doorstep, Let’s Help, Topeka Rescue Mission, and others.
We support these local ministries, as well as other initiatives that we spend your generous donations on.
Why Give?
As people of God we give because God has given so much to us. God doesn’t need our money, but what it represents: our purposes, passions, and priorities.
We give to make a Christian impact locally in Topeka, across the country, as well as globally through mission efforts.
We give to increase disciples of Jesus Christ through our generosity so that others may know God’s love and blessings!
Globally
At Countryside, we take this command of making disciples in all nations very seriously, which leads us to giving of your tithe and offerings to work God is doing globally. We have missionaries sent from Countryside as well as Global Partnerships over the world.
Why Give?
It’s a spiritual issue
Stewardship is directly linked to discipleship. How we use our resources is a spiritual issue- not just a financial one. The quality of that decision is determined by the spiritual condition of your heart.
Jesus talked about it
Jesus spoke openly about the issue of money and possessions. Approximately two-thirds of the parables and about one of every ten verses in the Gospel accounts address this very issue. As followers of Jesus, we should not be reluctant to talk about giving as an outward expression of our commitment to Christ.
It’s not about the budget
The temptation in stewardship campaigns is to approach the financial needs of the church from a fundraising perspective to fund a budget. Our stewardship perspective places more emphasis on the spiritual nature of the effort. God does not need our money; rather, we need to give it as an act of thanksgiving and trust.
It’s about trust
As we grow in grace, we learn to depend less on ourselves and more on God to relinquish attitudes and habits that impede our relationship with God.
